Sukratheendra Sarovara

Just in front of the temple there was a lake, noticing that the lake was in a condition that it would break down, in 1949 it was turned to a well later as per Kalabhairava's orders the lake as built in the name of Sukratheendra sarovara and was inaugrated on 24-11-1966. During the construction it was noticed that there were some precious fossils which were there from 4 decades and some of the pooja articles were found there. Deepotsava is held near this lake and during Avabrathotsava(Holi) god is brought here and is given bath by the priests and even the priests take bath in this lake. There is a farm belonging to the temple which is watered by this lake water itself.
